Talk-Bridge Terms of Service

1. Who provides the service
Talk-Bridge (the "Service") is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Anton Donnik, registered in Georgia, identification number 345854328, address: Egnate Ninoshvili Street N2, Batumi, Georgia ("we", "us"). Contact: support@talk-bridge.com.
Who sells to you. Payments may be processed by our authorised reseller acting as merchant of record. In that case your purchase contract is with them and their details appear on your receipt and at checkout. These Terms govern your use of the Service regardless of who acted as seller; we remain responsible for the Service itself.
2. What the Service is
Talk-Bridge is an online service that translates spoken language in real time - speech recognition, translation and synthesis - and provides transcripts, meeting summaries and a personal glossary in your account.
What you buy is a service, namely access to the Service. No copy of any software is transferred, sold or licensed to you, and you acquire no rights in the software or its components.
Translation quality. Translation is produced automatically, without human involvement. Errors, inaccuracies and distortions of meaning are possible. Do not rely on the Service where a translation error could cause harm - medical, legal, financial or similar situations requiring guaranteed accuracy - without human review.
3. Your account
You need an account: an email address and a password, or sign-in with Google. We do not ask for your first or last name.
You may create an account if you are 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account.
You choose your display name in a room. Your real name is not required.
4. Account balance
There are three types of funds:
- primary - topped up by you; spent first; - bonus - granted by us, including the minutes given at sign-up; spent after the primary balance; has no cash value and is not refundable; - referral - earned through the partner programme; not spent directly, you transfer it to the bonus balance yourself.
5. Prices and payment
Two models are available: pay-as-you-go, charged from your balance for the time actually used, and the Talk-Bridge Pro monthly subscription. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Prices shown to consumers include all applicable taxes. The service is treated as supplied progressively, as you use it.
6. Subscription
The subscription renews automatically for each following period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in your account: cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Withdrawal, refunds and cancellation
Withdrawal and refunds are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Consumers in the EU and the UK may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. If you asked us to begin providing the service immediately and it has been partly provided, you pay for what you have actually used, in proportion. A model withdrawal form is available on request at support@talk-bridge.com.
8. Your content, our rights
The Service, its software, design and trade marks belong to us.
You keep the rights to your speech, transcripts and materials. You grant us the right to process them solely to the extent necessary to provide the service - to recognise, translate, synthesise speech and to produce transcripts and summaries. We do not use them for any other purpose.
9. What you must not do
Use the Service to break the law; record and translate a conversation where the law requires the participants' consent without obtaining it; circumvent restrictions, overload our infrastructure with automated requests, or resell access without our written consent.
10. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of automatic translation.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the event. This limitation does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or where the law of your country does not allow such a limitation in dealings with consumers.
11. Personal data
Processing is described in the Privacy Policy. We never store audio recordings of your speech; sound is processed in transit only.
12. Changes and termination
We may change these Terms on 10 days' notice by email or in your account. If you do not accept the change, you may stop using the Service and have your unused paid balance refunded.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend access if you breach section 9, telling you why.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Georgia.
If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We have not committed to any alternative dispute resolution scheme and handle complaints directly.
