Conference

One person speaks - hundreds listen, each in their own language. Conferences, lectures, church services and webinars.

Story one: a conference in twelve languages

Tony was preparing an international conference in Istanbul: three hundred guests, speakers from six countries. The budget was cracking: interpreter booths, headsets, rigging. A week before the event the vendor doubled the price, and Tony realized he needed a plan B yesterday.

Plan B took one evening. Tony created a Conference room in Talk-Bridge, picked the Conference topic so the AI would handle terminology with care, and put a QR code on the stage screen. No equipment at all: guests point their camera, open the link in a browser and pick a language. No apps, no signup.

The hall ran in twelve languages at once. Some read the live translation with word-by-word highlighting, others listened to the voice-over through their own earphones. The context engine fixed speech recognition slips on the fly: it remembered what the talk was about and restored technical terms correctly.

After the event Tony opened the Summary tab and got a digest of every talk with key points and decisions - in his own language. And the cost report showed a total smaller than one hour of a human interpreter.

In this story:

  • Conference room with QR joining, no signup for listeners
  • Translation into each listener's language + voice-over with highlighting
  • Meeting topic + context normalization of terms
  • AI summary of the meeting (Pro)

Story two: a service everyone understands

Sofia volunteers in an international church community in Antalya. On Sundays the hall gathers people from a dozen countries, and for years everything relied on two exhausted volunteer interpreters. Newcomers without English could only smile and nod.

Now there is a QR code at the entrance. Sofia created a room with the Church topic, and the AI treats special vocabulary with respect: a blessing never turns into a congratulation. The pastor speaks into the microphone, and everyone hears the sermon in their mother tongue.

In the middle of the service came a break - Sofia pressed Pause. Nothing was lost: after the break the broadcast continued, and latecomers caught up through the history. When a guest from Germany wanted to ask a question, Sofia enabled her microphone right from the participant list - the question sounded in German, and the hall heard it each in their own language.

In the evening a minister who could not attend received a topic-by-topic summary of the meeting from Sofia. The Pro subscription costs less than coffee for two interpreters, she jokes.

In this story:

  • Church topic: careful handling of religious vocabulary
  • Speaking listener: questions from the audience in their language
  • Pause without losing data + broadcast history
  • Topic-by-topic summary (Pro)

1-on-1

Story three: the conversation that changed everything

Our mascots told us this story themselves. Tony went on vacation and met Sofia on the seafront. She spoke no English, he knew two words of her language, and a plain phone translator turned the talk into an interrogation: say a phrase, wait, show the screen. No jokes, no intonation.

So Tony created a 1-on-1 room and sent Sofia the link. She opened it in her phone browser - no install, no signup. Each spoke their own language and heard the other in theirs: lines were translated on the fly, and the voice-over kept the natural rhythm of a conversation.

The Casual topic did its job: the AI kept the jokes and the light tone instead of turning flirting into a protocol. They were laughing within a minute. Within an hour they forgot there had ever been a language barrier between them.

Today Tony and Sofia are a family with two languages at home. They started teaching each other, but the important conversations still go through the 1-on-1 room - just in case.

In this story:

  • 1-on-1 room: a private dialog, the second person joins by link
  • Both sides speak: microphone for both participants
  • Casual topic: AI keeps humor and emotion

Story four: a seaside flat and a safe deposit

Sofia had to rent a flat in Italy for a year - and the owner spoke only Italian. At stake: the deposit and a contract full of terms like advance, utilities and penalty. One wrong word and hello, dispute out of nowhere.

Sofia put the key terms into her personal glossary: names, the address, cauzione and other words that generic translators mix up. In a 1-on-1 room with the Business topic the AI used her glossary and translated exactly as agreed.

One hour of talks - and every condition was settled down to the details. After the call Sofia opened the dialog history and re-read the tricky clause, then sent the meeting summary with the decisions to the owner - he confirmed everything was right.

The deposit came back in full at the end of the year. Sofia says the glossary is her insurance: fill it once and it works in every conversation.

In this story:

  • Personal glossary (Pro): your terms in every room
  • Business topic for professional vocabulary
  • Dialog history + summary with decisions (Pro)
